StoP the MoMenT-LoVe WoRld

 Today our main goal is going to the statue of liberty, but the reservation was made in the afternoon ( cuz now if you want to go inside of the statue of liberty, you have to make a reservation before 48 hrs, but still not open for people to climb on the top.....), we decided to go to the and world trade center and NY stock exchange first. In the subway station, we fould there is some cute sculptures~  The desiger is so considerable to add some cute element into the station, sometimes it really helps people to release the pressure.
 After 911, the NY stock exchange doesnt allow tourists to go inside anymore.....so we only took some pics from outside and then ready to head to the Battery Park, where the board can take us to Ellis Island.
 About 1:00pm, we arrived on the Ellis island, and then go inside the statue of liberty.
While we were ready to leave Ellis Island, a thunderstorm came!! Originally plan to go to the soho...but the rain is too heavy..so decide to go back to the hotel.
 While we were back to hotel, the weather became nice again, so weird! So we walked around the east village, there were a lots little store which all have their own characteristic. The women clothing there are all so cute and pretty, but also rediculous expensive, most brands I even never heared of them before.
 I bought a cute top from a store Outlet 7, it is designed from Orla Kiely. Her designs are really cute, but not so popular in US, but I really love them~~~ 
After I am back from NYC, I did some rearch on the brand and found I really got very good deal on that top!  

  This is my 2nd time to go to NYC, last time only stay there about 1 day and some mucg places left I want to see.But this time...I  am so stupid....forget to bring my digital camera!! ..   have to buy those single-use cameras.... anyway..better than nothing lo...
 When we arrived NYC, we directly went to the Met. It's such a huge museum, but my main goal is the 19th century impressionism exhibition, so didnt spend too much time on other exhibition. In the 19th century impressionism exhibition, I saw my favoriate artist's work--Degas, who is famous by drawing the ballet dancers.
 After the MET, we were exhausted, so we decided to head to our hotel. The hotel is located in the east village, named East village bed & coffee. It's really nice, kinda like "民宿" in taiwan, (but still cost $100/night...)  really clean and confy. The only thing I dont like is that it's a little far to the subway, except that, I am really satisfied. If I go there the other time, I think it still will be my choice.
 We went to the Brookline birdge and city halll after we put down our belongings. It was alreay 8:00pm, but the sky is still pretty bright. People said the Brookline bridge is more pretty during the night, but unfortunately, we didnt have chance to see it, cuz everybody know....dont stay too late in the NYC, even now NYC is much safer  than before, but still, safety is the first consideration while you are in some place you are not familiar with.

 
Today my honey and me made a deal to walk along the freedom trial, people said it will take about 4 hrs ...ha..we'll see..
  We decided to start at the Quincy market. When we got there, there already were a lots people. Some street performances were going on, like street dance, magic tricks..etc,and very impressive.

Day 4
   Today I went to filene's basement again before my honey came .. Filene's basement is really like warehouse, noisy and messy, but just be patient, you can find a lots good stuff! like today I found a  leather jacket, Kenneth Cole, the original price is $400, I bought it only by paying $50. Is that amazing!! 
 Tonight I so moved for legal seafood..so I dragged my honey to eat there for dinner. Like usual, the food there is great, fresh and delicious.

Day 3, not sure want to go to shop again or go to museum of natural history....... (or both?) then...I think... if I dont go to museum today..who knows what will happen tomorrow to hold me back. I can do shopping everywhere, right? After I made up my mind..I hop on the T and heading to the Harvard Squ.


Today is not so hard to find the museum, maybe just bcuz yesterday is too cold and it freezed my brain  ..anyway~ finally I saw the " legendary" glass flowers~ so amazing~ you cannot imagine how details they are!

This museum also has fossils and specimen of animals exhibitions, really awesome too!

Don't know why today the entrance from this museum to the other museum, Peabody museum, is open...anyway~ good for me~ hehe~ . That museum focuses on archaecology and ethnology. I dont have too much interest in them, so didnt stay too long..just " riding horse to see the flowers" haha~~~~ 

  After this, I plan to go to find the hand-made chocolate store-L.A. BURDICK, but still have bad luck so cannot find it...., but I do find the famous dessert store" finale" and bought 4 of them, they are cheesecake, ultimate chocolate cake, tiramisu and dark chocolate cake. In my opinion, their cheesecake is better the cheesecakefactory~

The weather is still like crap, so I decide go to Filene's basement to do some shopping~Take green line and get out from the Park St.station. Filene's basement,a bargain-hunter's shrine, is located in downtown crossing, just couple bluks away from the Park St.station.  
 

Downtown crossing is the other great spot for people to shop. Most  department stores have branches here.
 
 Forgot to check the exact location of Harvard Museum of Natual History, and also spend too much time in filene's ... took me too much time to find the museum and it's close to 5pm....anyway...I will come again! I swear! But I do find the Memorial Hall.

                                  
After this is alreay pass 5pm and it's time to go home. The T is really really crowded! While I was waiting for the train, some black guy come to ask my phone# and also gave me his number....Fortunately, one train was coming.I pretended that was the one I want
and ran to the other side. 

Already been in boston about 10 days, but cuz I was sick (still a little sick...cough cough..) and went to Baltimore to visit my cousin couple days, today is my 1st. day to walk around by myself in boston, see where I can go~
1st Stop: Hard Rock Cafe
 I am a tourist!: 一整個很觀光客的心態,只是想去買個杯子作紀念,到了那東晃西晃什麼都想買,後來還是理性的只買了個杯子~~~


 

畢業了當然就要到處玩囉~~
剛好我姨媽根中中哥哥要從台灣去找baltimore找他兒子女兒~~也就是我表哥表姊啦~~
我想那我也飛去找他們一起玩好了~~~人多才熱鬧...ccc..而且我姨媽做菜超好吃的 想到就流口水........
話說我表哥家啊...完全就是在農莊裡...還有一個馬場(可惜沒空養馬...)..馬場只能給我們開除草機玩~~~
